Total ticket sales were $755.00 (that's at 5 bucks per ticket) If my
calculations are correct, this means that at least 174 tickets were sold.
NOT TOO SHABBY FOR A THURS NIGHT!! The agreement with Vino's was that they
would get the first $150.00 for providing the space, staff, security,
doorman, and clean up. The Vino's people worked really hard at this thing
and their share was well earned!! This left us with $605.00 from ticket
sales. We sold $37.00 worth of merchandise, bringing the actual benefit
money to $642.00 net. (Note.None of us took out for any expenses incurred
so the $642.00 is all donation)
ALSO, we received the $90.00 in online contributions from Tiffany and
Dianna. TIFFANY AND DIANNA, YOU TAKE MY BREATH AWAY. We also got an
additional $25.00 contribution from Dianne W, given directly to me. That
was $115.00 in contributions!! Utterly splendid and highly valued!!!!!

We ALSO still have the autographed Devil's Knot copy. (Have I mentioned
lately how much I adore Mara Leveritt? I really love that woman!) Mary
placed the high bid on the book, but rather than just paying her 20 bucks
for it, she thought it would be more advantageous to the defense fund if she
tried to get more bids for it online. So, the book will be up for auction
soon and the proceeds from that could sorta be considered as money raised
through the benefit.
Well that's about all I can say about it, and felt that it should be shared
with you all!
Oh yeah, and Mary also submitted the $255.00 payment for the Wil Wheaton
book! Woo hoo!
